Overall: Beste Jelly Cleanser is my best friend for sure! I am so in love with the formulation of this product. It is so gentle yet so effective at cleansing the skin and leaving it with a suppleness and dewiness. I can’t say enought good things about this formula. The pH is low, between 5-6. The ingredients are stellar, to name my favorites: marula oil, cantaloupe fruit extract, and aloe. It’s a very clean, short list! The only downside with this product has been the packaging. The twist and squirt seal does not lock very well. I contacted Drunk Elephant and they suggested twisting until a “click” sound is heard but that didn’t help. I now just keep it laying flat like in the photo above to ensure it doesn’t leak.
How: I only use cleansers at night. I will always use an oil based cleanser to remove my make-up and sunscreen, then I will go in with the Beste Jelly Cleanser on dump skin and massage in until it lightly lathers to a foam. Do not get this in your eyes, it has surfactants in it so it will sting! Then rinse off with lukewarm water and pat gently. Follow with an exfoliating toner like the Pixi Glow Tonic or a hydrating mist like Rose Hibiscus.
