Gisou Honey Infused Wash and Conditioner Review

What is it?

Gisou finally came out with their own shampoo and conditioner duo and I was so excited for this launch. First, I knew the packaging would be dreamy, and I wasn’t disappointed. Moreover, the ingredients blew me out of the water. I knew these were going to be infused with the Mirsalehi honey, but I wasn’t sure if she would be able to make them sulfate- and silicone-free. But she did it!

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Wash is a nourishing shampoo enriched with honey from the Mirsalehi bee garden, formulated to effectively yet gently cleanse hair and create a generous lather to relieve the scalp from buildup. The key ingredient is honey. Suitable for all hair types and safely formulated for colored and chemically treated hair. Cruelty-free.

Gisou Honey Infused Conditioner is a nourishing, weightless conditioner enriched with honey from the Mirsalehi bee garden, formulated to gently and effectively detangle and condition hair, leaving it hydrated, manageable and strong.

How do you use it? What are the results?

The shampoo has a beautiful honey-like consistency and color. It lathers SO MUCH for a sulfate-free shampoo. I was seriously impressed with the amount of lather. Which means I can use way less product per pump to get a good cleanse. However, it doesn’t leave the hair feeling squeaky clean, which I absolutely love. It just feels clean but comfortable. The conditioner is rich, but still airy and lightweight. You don’t need too much to saturate the hair and it feels like it works immediately, although I always top it off with their honey-infused hair mask for maximum softness. Feels weightless and has that awesome “slip” and cushiony texture when rinsed off. Let’s not get into the fragrance. I could talk about it for hours. It’s soft, clean, and honey-like. It almost smells like traditional soap bar mixed with honey and gardenia. The results after air-drying are manageable, defined waves, silky, soft, goodness. OBSESSED.

Would I repurchase?

I would definitely get a refill of these! They’re so beautiful in my shower, they work as an immediate pick me up. Beyond that, the value for the price point I think is there compared to other similar products. I think it’s priced reasonably and it’s a solid shampoo and conditioner combo that can give you an actually good hair day (or week if you’re like me).

The products were gifted to me by the brand. This post is not affiliated with Gisou. All opinions are my own.
