This has been a burning question across a lot of my instagram posts and stories. I’ll post about a deodorant in one of my routines or shelfies and people will ask “Does it work?” again and again. I’ve rounded up ALL the natural deodorants that I could find interesting enough and I’m ready for the nitty gritty (a few I’ve tried are missing, but for good reason). We will judge them in three categories: Scent, Formula (texture, ingredients, etc), and Longevity.
One of the most luxurious deodorants with a hefty price tag. This one is one of my favorites.
I have purchased Holi (Man) No. 5 twice so far. It is a beautiful and understated scent. Notes include vetiver, rose, sandalwood, cistus, and cedarwood. I love how the scent translates on me. Crisp and clean but not powdery. Holi (Stick) No. 3 on the other hand, has not been my favorite but only because I highly dislike Lavender in any way shape or form, unless fresh from Provance for decor. The scent is lavender and eucalyptus, a combination that translates as straight up B.O. with my chemistry.
Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Cera Alba (Beeswax), Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda), Persea Gratissima (Avocado Butter), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower Butter), Ricinus Communis (Castor Oil), Organic Honey, Organic Lavendin, Organic Eucalyptus Globulus, Acidum Citricum (Citric Acid)
I don’t love the Baking Soda here, but this formula just works. It has never irritated my skin in any way and it does provide a very smooth layer. The texture is a little bit grainy but as soon as the product warms up to the skin, it goes on buttery. I have noticed stains on white clothing with this.
This keeps me smelling fresh all day. And when I take my top off at night, it smells clean. There’s less sweating with this deodorant as well.

The price point of this deodorant along with the incredible ingredients and scent make it a clear winner.
I was kindly sent Rose by the brand to test. The scent is quite familiar, a crisp rosewater type. Powdery but definitely not overwhelming and I find it quite feminine and calming. It’s just cute!
Water/Eau/Aqua, Propanediol, Sodium Stearate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Fragrance (Parfum), Ethylhexylglycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Charcoal Powder, Citronellol, Geraniol
This is baking soda free, but it does include corn starch which has absorbent properties as well as neutralizing charcoal powder. What a pleasant delight! It’s like a hard gel that melts on contact with your skin. I absolutely love how this feels on. I have noticed some staining on clothing with this.
This actually lasts a full 8-hour office work day on me. Now, if I was out and about running errands or spending time in the sun, I think I would definitely have to reapply before the 8-hour mark! However, that’s not a problem with me! It’s refreshing and so pleasant to wear!

This is a fairly new brand that has made quite an impression since its launch. Corpus Naturals has combined unique scents in a very lightweight formula packaged so beautifully. The most expensive out of this group!
I purchased Santalum from Violet Grey during a trip to L.A. I was instantly in love. Fresh but woodsy in such a clean and crispy way. The notes include Sandalwood, Cedarwood, and Amber. The brand also sent me to try Cedar Flora which is incredibly unique and makes for a fine masculine/feminine combo. Notes include Cedar, White Musk, Jasmine, and Guaiacwood.
Propanediol, Water (Aqua), Tapioca Starch, Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Sodium Stearate, Sorbitan Oleate Decylglucoside Crosspolymer, Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate/Succinate, Fragrance (Parfum-Natural), Diatomaceous Earth, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Silica, Polyglyceryl-5 Oleate, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Citric Acid
This feels like a cool gel on the skin. It slides on smoothly and never leaves grainy particles or any lumps behind. I absolutely love that it’s so innovative in terms of ingredients too! I have seen some staining while using this, but nothing significant.
This usually gets me through 5-6 hours of wear. I have never re-applied because I don’t find it necessary, but if I did have to I would! It wears so nicely and the scent translates so well as it fades off. I just really like how it meshes with my chemistry.

Definitely my least favorite out of the bunch.
Lavender and Tea Tree. Need I say more? I can’t stand the scent. It’s just not suited for me. If you love lavender tho, definitely try it!
Organic Arrowroot (Manihot esculenta) Powder, Organic Virgin Coconut (Cocos nucifera) Oil, Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate), Organic Shea (Butyrospermum parkii) Fruit Butter, Organic Beeswax, Sunflower (Helianthus Annuus) Seed Wax, Organic Lavender (Lavandula intermedia) Oil, Organic Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) Leaf Oil.

Now that’s an adorable brand! I am obsessed with their packaging and whole existence to be quite honest.
Rosy Pits is more of a rose inspired fragrance, than fresh cut roses. It reminds me of lilies and iris. It’s fresh and clearly feminine. Not positive about the sage in this, it’s not always something that wears well on me.
Propanediol, Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium Stearate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Glycerin, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Benzyl Benzoate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Camellia Oleifera Leaf (Green Tea) Extract, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil, Rosa Absolute (Moldova), Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail Plant) Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract.
This formula is very similar to the Corpus Naturals in terms of texture. Feels like a gel, very smooth application. No lumps or grittiness.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t last all day, but it does make me smell good even though a faint B.O. smell is detectable after the 6-hour mark. I was outside the other day for the majority of the morning and I noticed that I didn’t smell as fresh as I’d like to! However, I love the scent and I wouldn’t mind taking with me to reapply thoughout the day!

This was just a pleasant product. I really appreciate the innovation in packaging. It’s a squeezy tube instead of a twist up. It’s such a time saver, honestly. It’s a bit hard to control how much product comes out in the beginning but you get the hang of it. The least expensive in this round-up so definitely worth checking out!
Crisp, clean citrus blended with herbal notes.
Diisopropyl Adipate, Glycerin (organic, vegetable derived), Dimethicone, Beeswax, Heptyl Undecylenate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Maranta Arundinacea (Arrowroot) Powder, Sorbitan Oleate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Triethyl Citrate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil (organic), Zeolite, Tapioca Starch, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Linalool, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Flower Oil, Elettaria Cardamomum Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract, Dimethyl Heptenal, Zinc Citrate, Water, Bisabolol, Titanium Dioxide, Silver Chloride.
This comes out as a semi-thick paste and goes on smoothly. I love that it spreads evenly with the applicator it comes with! It’s got quite a few of essential oils as well as beeswax, silicones, and coconut oil. All very interesting!
I quite love how long this lasts. It’s exceptionally good at keeping me smelling fresh for the majority of the day, or at least until I’m back home! I find that I smell good at the end of the day when I wear this, in a crisp and fresh way that I haven’t found with the others. I didn’t notice any stains with this.

By far the most pleasant of the deodorants. I love the slender packaging and the fact that it is just so simple.
I have coconut vanilla, but I would love to try the others too. It smells fresh and inviting, a little sweet but nothing overpowering. I really enjoy it. Target also sells them so it’s very accessible!
Caprylic/capric triglyceride (which is a fancy way of saying fractionated coconut oil), arrowroot powder, stearyl alcohol, baking soda, shea butter, coconut oil, hydrogenated castor oil, polyglycerol-3 beeswax (which is a fancy way of saying cera bellina wax), jojoba esters, tocopherol (which is a fancy way of saying Vitamin E), L. acidophilus (which is a natural bacteria found in your body already), dextrose, glyceryl caprylate, glyceryl undecylenate.
The texture is very creamy and not bumpy or lumpy at all. Never noticed any staining while using this.
This definitely lasts all day and keeps me smelling pleasant. It’s a win! I really love the way it leaves my underarm area feeling at the end of the day too. Very soft and touchable, not sticky and never irritating.
